All applicants are vetted and only ~10% (2022) are accepted to join. We evaluate based on three main traits: culinary quality, reliability and communication skills.

A menu tailored to you

To create the perfect menu for your event you can chat directly with our chefs for bespoke suggestions and tailor your choices.

Enjoy your party

On the day, your chef will do all the work for you. They'll buy the ingredients, cook, serve and event do the washing up.

No kitchen requirements

Our chefs can work in smaller, open plan kitchens, bringing the required equipment with them. Nomads can even help with bringing cutlery, crockery and serving dishes if needed.

One Feeds Two donation

For each meal we serve we donate a meal to a child in need. Visit our charity partner One Feeds Two to find out more.

Fair chef pay

Our chefs receive 100% of the menu cost you pay, they also work directly with you to plan the perfect dinner. We charge a 15% service fee on top of the menu cost.

How are Nomads vetted?

We pride ourselves on bringing you the best private chefs in the industry - it’s the most important thing we do.

1. We review applicants' experience and CV for top-quality experience and talent
2. Our founder, Jojo, personally conducts interviews with each candidate to ensure they meet our standards for experience and culture.
3. We run an upskilling program for talented chefs that are new to private dining.
4. All chefs hold current Food Hygiene Level 2 certificates and are double reference checked.

Additionally, we continuously conduct quality checks to ensure long-term adherence to our high standards.

Are Nomad Chefs available in my area?

We’re currently available throughout Greater London, within the M25. Outside the area? Start a chat with us (bottom right) and we will see what we can do.

What if my kitchen is only small, or I don’t have much cooking equipment?

Nomads can create amazing food in just a typical kitchen. They will need an oven, four hobs, and some space for preparation. Your Nomad will ask you for details when you discuss your event.

Who buys all the ingredients?

Your Nomad will buy all the fresh ingredients before your event. All ingredients are included in the price of your menu.

Where do you source your ingredients?

We use premium suppliers for high quality vegetables and free range meats. Our current suppliers are HG Walter, Henderson Seafood and Nature's Choice.

When will my chef arrive

Typically, 1.5 to 2 hours before the start time of your event.

Can Nomad Chefs cater to different dietary requirements?

If anyone in your group has specific dietary needs or preferences, they can be provided with a dish that's customised to their requirements. As you select your menu, you can view the options available for them.

What is One Feeds Two?

Our partnership with One Feeds Two means that for every guest served by a Nomad, a child in poverty receives a free school meal. Their approach in combatting child hunger through hot school meal promotes both education and essential nutrition.
